Soft as but runs big

I love my new holster sandals, the plastic. Is soft and supple but they do run big. I'm a 39 and I thought they were ok, but after walking in them you foot naturally moves to the front of the sandal leaving a gap. My friend bought a 38 and that fit me way better

Very happy with them. But will size down next time. They are a size to big which make them slip off slighty while walking
