I bought the Connie pair in beige to wear in the red dirt for out of the office work visits in outback Australia. I have found them amazing to wear for Tennis also and everyday comfort with a cute dress, shorts or the waterways. They're exactly what I hoped they would be in structure having just been given Holster slides for Christmas. Just like my gifted slides, I wanted a (very) light material, washable, comfortable and casual style shoe.

The shoes give you a wide, flat look, which I didn’t expect to work but it does; the look is a retro gym shoe. With the PU material they don’t breathe, so while I prefer to wear sandshoes without socks its difficult to maintain with these for more than a couple of hours, because you get really sweaty and slippery without socks. They are comfortable as advertised. Given that all reviews are high stars will be interesting to see if they advertise this review with 3 stars. I have ordered numerous shoes from Holster and feel ambivalent: some are comfortable and good design, but they don’t breathe and sizing is so variable, at least half a size, which makes it a shot in the dark.
The most comfy sneakers ever. So Lightweight. Just love this shoes.

I love my sneakers - although they are a little too big (one size smaller would fit better), but they are very lightweight and comfortable. I’ll try them out when I visit Paris this summer hoping they won’t tire my feet… looking forward!
